OUR PROGRAMS
Space Teams Academy Programs are easy to deploy to fit the needs and STEM goals of any classroom or club.
Each level contains 12 sessions of learning content and activities.
Teachers select and customize the program so it works best for their classroom and receive access to real-time support to ensure a smooth rollout.
After-school camps, clubs or individuals can start the Space Teams Academy program any time and run it on their schedule.
Level 1: For Middle School or High School Students
Lessons
Science & engineering background and how to perform the activities
Design Activities
Virtual team-based design with AI feedback
Virtual Mission Experiences
Immersive, authentic mission tasks in the space environment
Expert Speakers
Prominent Scientists & Engineers from NASA and Industry

Astronautics & Space Exploration
Learn about Astronautics and Space Exploration from an Astronaut and conduct your own tour of the Solar System in a high-fidelity VR simulation.
Planetary Science
Students learn the fundamentals of Planetary Science & Exoplanets and explore their own planet.

Spacecraft Systems & Operations
Students learn about Spacecraft Systems & Operations and conduct an in-space Robotics Operations simulation.
Spacecraft Design
Students explore Spacecraft Design & Assembly and design their own interplanetary transport vehicle.

Deep Space Missions
Students are introduced to Deep Space Missions and conduct a virtual Rendezvous & Docking simulation.
Orbital Mechanics
Students learn about Orbital Mechanics & Remote Sensing and design their own trajectory to a rogue planet passing through our solar system.

Spacecraft Piloting
Students learn about Spacecraft Piloting from an Astronaut and build their skills in a Lunar Landing simulation.
Entry, Descent, and Landing
Students learn about Atmospheric Entry, Descent and Landing and pilot their own spacecraft to a designated landing site on a new planet.

Extra-Vehicular Activity (EVA)
Students learn all about spacesuits and spacewalking before doing their own EVA to repair part of the International Space Station.
Planetary Habitat Construction
Students are exposed to the design aspects of Planetary Habitats and construct their own base to sustain human presence on another world.

Robotic Surface Operations
Students learn all about robotic planetary exploration from a deep space exploration expert and then conduct a science sampling mission by navigating a rover in Kaiser crater on Mars.
Surface Exploration & Sustainability
Students learn the fundamentals of Resource Exploration & Sustainability and conduct surface operations on the surface of an exoplanet.

Level 2: Advanced High School and University Students
Workshops and Activities
Technical Workshops
Learn how to use professional space-engineering tools to design space missions and simulations
System Modeling & Simulation
Gain experience modeling space vehicles, habitats, robotics, spaceflight systems and operations (CAD, Python, AI, algorithms).
Design Competition
As a team, apply your new skills to create and execute a space mission simulation of your own design.
