Students worldwide design and execute a virtual space mission, where you’ll learn the engineering design process, apply new STEM skills, and run real-time mission simulations. Work as a team (or on your own) to design a mission to another planet, guided by lessons, tutorials, presentations by astronauts, scientists and engineers, and AI guided help. Open to explorers ages 12+, this immersive program can be customized by teachers, mentors, STEM leaders or parents, to do the design and mission experience activities on any schedule. Individuals, teams, camps, clubs, schools, and STEM organizations are welcome to join.

HOW IT WORKS
All activities, students, teams, and programs are managed from the Space Teams Academy dashboard (a website). High-fidelity simulation software is downloaded to your computer, or accessed via Virtual Machines in your browser for those using Chromebooks or incompatible computers. Whether doing an activity solo or with your team, you must have a good internet connection! Direct verbal and text-chat communication with your team is available when using the software. Team members can be physically together or collaborate remotely and asynchronously. A live leaderboard shows team rankings, and support is available to ensure seamless onboarding, learning, and mission execution.
