Blast off in 3-2-1! Our team has been eagerly preparing for this day, and it’s almost here! We are beyond excited to be hosting a Space Teams competition at the University of Houston at Clear Lake (UHCL) this weekend! On Saturday, March 5th , high school students will participate in a special presentation from members of Space Teams, where students will learn about the design and engineering elements of interplanetary vehicles. Then on Sunday, March 6th, students will have 8 hours to design an interplanetary vehicle using the SpaceCRAFT software. Designs are scored based on numerous factors, such as the engineering design and sustainability throughout a long duration mission. The winning teams will be announced at the end of the competition on March 6th at 6:00pm!
